IT Infrastructure Manager

  • Job Summary:

This is an exceptional opportunity to lead the management and maintenance of our organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability.

This role involves configuring and troubleshooting servers, networks, and enterprise applications, as well as implementing security protocols and system upgrades. You will be responsible for proactively maintaining and managing server, network, and firewall systems, identifying areas for improvement, and developing strategic plans to enhance our infrastructure.

  • Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Management:

Configure, install, and manage internal-facing servers, virtual environments, networks, and firewalls.

Troubleshoot LAN/WAN and backbone infrastructure issues, working with cross-functional teams to resolve problems efficiently.

Proactively maintain and manage server, network, and firewall systems, ensuring uptime and optimal performance.

  • Security & Compliance:

Monitor M365 security alerts, logs, and reports to detect and respond to potential security incidents.

Develop and implement policies to ensure our IT infrastructure aligns with industry-standard security and compliance frameworks, including ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type 2.

Manage patching and vulnerability remediation for end-user machines, ensuring security updates are thoroughly tested and deployed efficiently.

  • Project & Risk Management:

Lead project planning, risk assessments, and contingency planning for IT-related initiatives.

Collaborate with vendors to evaluate and negotiate hardware, firewall, and software solutions.

  • Support & Maintenance:

Provide timely support for infrastructure emergencies, both during and after regular business hours.

Maintain accurate inventory and asset configuration documentation.

  • Collaboration & Training:

Develop and deliver training programs to educate team members on new technologies and best practices.

Cultivate relationships with customers and staff at a technical level as required, fostering trust and understanding.
