About Our Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our team. This role is a key technical leader and communicator with stakeholders in the data products space.

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will contribute to the design and development of enterprise-grade data systems, bridging engineering teams and business partners. You will drive development efforts by contributing high-quality code across data pipelines, APIs, and platform components.

  • Own project deliverables, timelines, and risks communication to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment.
  • Understand customer needs and translate them into technical solutions, partnering with product, analytics, and engineering teams.
  • Design and deliver robust data architectures supporting analytics, APIs, and machine learning initiatives.
  • Lead technical execution of key projects, clearly communicating progress and addressing roadblocks.
  • Partner cross-functionally to co-develop architectural roadmaps, implementation plans, and go-live strategies meeting business requirements.
  • Participate in stakeholder reviews and provide clear updates on technical progress, dependencies, and constraints.
  • Guide platform-level optimization, including cost efficiency, performance, reliability, and maintainability.

This role requires a strong understanding of software engineering principles, data modeling, and cloud-based data platforms. You will have a proven ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences, including customers and executives.

  • Commitment to quality, scalability, and maintainability through thoughtful design and testing.

Skills and Experience:

  • 10-20 years of experience in data engineering.
  • Advanced skills in Python, Golang, SQL, and cloud data platforms.
  • Strong experience in communicating complex project plans and deliverables.
  • Track record of developing scalable data pipelines, APIs, and data platform components.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-native ecosystems, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code.
