Senior Machine Learning Expert

The position of Senior Machine Learning Expert is a pivotal role in the development and innovation of cutting-edge machine learning solutions. As part of our team, you will collaborate with skilled professionals to design and implement advanced analytics and data science projects.

This individual will lead the creation of predictive models and statistical analyses to enhance internal decision-making processes and drive business outcomes.

  • Create process automation for large-scale map-making using Big Data infrastructure and scalable machine learning techniques.
  • Design and test analytic and statistical models to improve internal data-driven processes.
  • Act as an expert in data mining, machine learning, statistics, and predictive analysis.
  • Promote expertise in predictive modeling and application on Core Map projects.

Requirements:

  • Masters or PhD degree in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or Econometrics.
  • Minimum 7+ years related professional experience.
  • Advanced knowledge in data mining and analytical methods such as regression, classifiers, clustering, association rules, decision trees, Bayesian network analysis.
  • Familiarity with algorithms in Computer Vision, Deep Learning, and Point Cloud Processing.
  • Proficiency with statistical analysis packages like Python, R, Matlab, SAS.
  • Programming skills in SQL, shell script, Python.
  • Knowledge of tools like Pig, Hive, etc., for working with big data in Hadoop and/or Spark.
  • Experience interacting with customer executives to explain predictive systems and techniques.
  • Ability to organize teams to execute projects delivering predictive modeling solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Development experience with Scala.
  • Development experience with Docker.
  • Development experience with GIS data.
  • Development experience with NoSQL databases.
