Legal Executive Opportunity

  • We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented legal professional to support our company's litigation and corporate law initiatives.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in preparing for trials and hearings, drafting notices, plaints, written statements, synopsis, and organizing evidence and exhibits.
  • Collaboration with external counsels on case strategy and pleadings is also crucial for this role.
  • Maintaining cause-lists trackers and keeping management updated on the status of cases is another key responsibility.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and organizing legal files and documentation, attending hearings, taking adjournments/certified copies, handling authorities visiting our premises, and visiting police stations as required.
  • Additionally, they will coordinate the end-to-end process for registration of agreements in Sub Registrar's Office and peruse notices received from customers, police, government departments, vendors, etc., drafting responses by coordinating with relevant departments, representing before authority as in-house counsel.
  • Active coordination with other functional areas for day-to-day legal matters such as issuance of notices, recovery of payments, disciplinary actions, etc. is also necessary.
  • The selected candidate must stay updated on legal trends and developments relevant to practice areas by researching relevant statutes, regulations, and case laws.
">Required Skills and Qualifications">
  • Drafting, vetting, negotiating, and settling corporate agreements such as non-disclosure agreements, customer agreements, vendor agreements, channel partner agreements, etc. is essential for this role.
  • Preparing and discussing strategies with management and external counsels to defend legal cases is also crucial.
  • An LLB degree from a reputable college is mandatory, along with 3-4 years of experience in litigations handling in a reputable law firm or in corporate.
  • Familiarity with legal research tools (e.g., Livelaw, Manu Patra, Westlaw, LexisNexis) is also desirable.
