Our Global Banking and Markets division provides a wide range of services to corporations, financial institutions, governments, and high net worth individuals. We are seeking an analyst to support the Loan Management function within our Public Division.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee trading and lending data for Mortgages and Structured Products, including data setup, database management, ETL, data validation, and quality control.
  • Drive process automation by identifying redundancies, reducing manual interventions, and improving process efficiency for the trading and lending platforms.
  • Develop strategic reporting for trading desks and asset management across relevant products and/or asset classes.
  • Ensure the flow, accuracy, and completeness of data by partnering with Asset Management, Engineering, and Strats to understand business requirements and define strategic data models and systems.
  • Liaise with Controllers, Compliance, Risk, and other divisions for regulatory and business important reporting through automated toolkits.
  • Translate business requirements into tangible solution specifications and high-quality, on-time deliverables.
  • Manage project timelines and completions for committed analytics, automation, and reporting.
  • Manage data dictionaries and large data stores.
  • Reconcile data discrepancies and perform data reconciliations between external vendors and internal databases through analytics and research.
  • Fulfill ad hoc data requests.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in data analysis, data modeling, RDBMS databases, and ETL.
  • Strong academic background with a minimum 3.0 GPA equivalent.
  • Proficient in SQL and/or interacting with structured data.
  • Understanding of industry-standard data transformation and reporting tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, or ability to create/build reports and data visualizations.
  • Solid analytical/logical mindset and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to manage internal and external relationships.
  • Team-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Must know or be able to learn Excel to an advanced level.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and work with Technology to help drive data-smart solutions.
