Business Unit Overview
Our Bengaluru office is seeking an analyst to support the Loan Management function within the Global Markets Division. This role will be responsible for directing and facilitating due diligence for the acquisition and sale/securitization of residential loan portfolios, ensuring completion of transaction closing requirements, and managing assets.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and overseeing mortgage data, including data analysis and validation
- Identifying and streamlining processes that can be automated using various tools
- Project management for initiatives driven by the team
- Coordinating with internal departments to develop and enhance processes with automation
- Communicating and coordinating with production groups to increase efficiencies within processes
- Fulfilling ad hoc data requests
- Developing regulatory and business-critical reporting through automated reporting toolkits
Skills/Experience
Required skills and experience include:
- 2-3 years of experience in data analysis, MIS, data modeling, RDBMS databases, and ETL
- 2-3 years of experience in Python coding following OOPS concepts
- Solid analytical and logical mindset with attention to detail
- Technical skills in SQL, RDBMS databases (SQL Server or Sybase ASE preferred)
- Ability to prioritize workload and work with Technology to drive data-smart solutions
- Strong communication skills with the ability to manage internal and external relationships
- Technical skills in creating reports and data visualizations
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience in Python and automation tools (Automation Anywhere), Instabase, Tableau/SSRS/Qliksense, or Alteryx preferred
- Understanding of databases, data models, and ETL processes preferred
- Mortgage banking or other financial industry experience preferred
