About the Role

As an Asset Management Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our software assets. You will be responsible for managing software requests, licenses, and contracts to ensure compliance and optimize our technology investments.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Software Request & License Management: Process software requests via BMC Helix/Digital Workplace Portal and validate license availability through vendor portals (e.g., Microsoft 365, Autodesk).
  2. Contract & Renewal Management: Track contract expirations using dashboards (Asana, Remedy) and coordinate with legal and procurement for contract reviews and renewals.
  3. Procurement & Purchase Order (PO) Process: Create and manage Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and POs in SAP, collaborating with the Center of Excellence (COE) for PR processing.
  4. Vendor & Communication Management: Use shared mailboxes for all vendor interactions and ensure all communications are tagged to relevant Remedy tickets.
  5. Software Deployment & Packaging: Coordinate with desktop engineering and local IT for software packaging and deployment, tracking deployment status and updating Remedy tickets.
Requirements
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Licence management experience: Experience in managing software licences, including procurement, assignment, and compliance.
  • Contract management skills: Ability to track and manage contracts, including renewals and terminations.
  • Process improvement skills: Ability to identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency.
  • Technical skills: Proficiency in software tools such as BMC Helix/Digital Workplace Portal, Asana, Remedy, SAP, and Intune/Microsoft Entra.
