Senior Engineering Manager Procurement

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Engineering Manager to oversee our procurement processes, ensuring seamless execution of projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and in-depth knowledge of procurement principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies for project-specific items, including pressure vessels, rotary equipment, and EI components.
  • Supplier Coordination: Foster strong relationships with international suppliers, handling bid clarifications and providing regular updates on purchasing status to U.S. counterparts.
  • Invoice Management: Receive and verify supplier invoices, ensuring accurate tagging to projects and processing through Oracle OnBase application.
  • Negotiation & Contracts: Negotiate terms, pricing, and delivery options with suppliers, collaborating with internal stakeholders on contractual, commercial, and legal issues.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience: 11-12 years of procurement experience, preferably in EPC environments within Oil and Gas or Transmission and Distribution industries.
  • Technical Skills: Good understanding of PO contract terms, logistics, and supplier qualification. Experience with contract formulation activities, systems, and processes.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills, enabling effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
