Software Leadership Role:

  • Leverage expertise to guide a global team of software engineers and QA professionals in delivering high-quality, timely software solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with senior leadership to prioritize work and align team goals with business objectives.
  • Work with stakeholders to groom prioritized work, ensure that work is well-defined and achievable, and drive technical execution.
  • Monitor team progress, track key metrics, and communicate status to stakeholders and senior leaders.
  • Identify and mitigate risks to ensure projects are delivered on time.
  • Engage in technical design discussions, perform code reviews, and contribute code regularly to maintain technical depth and lead by example.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices in software development, including coding standards, design principles, and testing methodologies.
  • Drive continuous improvement in team processes, efficiency, and collaboration.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing timely solutions to blockers and challenges.
  • Facilitate regular team meetings (e.g., standups, sprint planning, retrospectives) to ensure effective communication and alignment.
  • Promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within the engineering team.

Additional responsibilities may include leading special projects, mentoring junior team members, and participating in organizational initiatives.

We're looking for an experienced professional with:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience guiding a global team of software engineers and QA professionals in an Agile or Scrum environment.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent communication and leadership abilities, and a passion for driving results-oriented teams.
