We're looking for a Senior Accounting Coordinator, Lease Accounting to support our operational lease accounting function and ensure complete and accurate financial close, internal, and external reporting, and the end-to-end lease cycle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Shared service/centralized lease accounting close and reporting process, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP, internal controls and company policy and procedures for the accurate and timely payment/billing of leases.
  • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly activity including, but not limited to percent rent payments/billings, CAM reconciliations, rebilling to franchisees, invoice adjustments, etc., ensuring the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.
  • Assist in lease accounting operations and activities including monthly close process, monthly rent and common area maintenance payments/billings, and monthly lease year end processes related to percent rent billings.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (accounting or finance preferred)
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting and/or finance experience (property accounting preferred)
  • Fundamental understanding of US GAAP-based financial accounting (ASC 842, Lease Accounting, experience preferred)
