SAP Basis and BTP Administrator

This role combines core SAP Basis administration responsibilities with support for SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) services.

Responsibilities:

  • Performing SAP Basis tasks includes system installations, upgrades, patching, transport management, user administration, and system monitoring.
  • Managing secure connectivity between on-premise systems and BTP using SAP Cloud Connector.
  • Supporting BTP configuration for services such as Integration Suite, Advanced Event Mesh, and Business Application Studio.
  • Managing BTP subaccounts, entitlements, roles, and service instances.
  • Assisting development and integration teams with platform setup, connectivity, and troubleshooting.
  • Ensuring proper access control and compliance with IT and security standards.
  • Documenting system configurations and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Strong SAP Basis administration experience is essential.
  • Exposure to SAP BTP or willingness to learn is a must.
  • Understanding of system connectivity and basic cloud concepts is required.
  • Good problem-solving and communication skills are necessary.

Preferred Skills:

  • While prior experience in all BTP services is not required, the candidate should have some working knowledge across the BTP areas and in-depth expertise in at least one of the following: Integration Suite, Advanced Event Mesh, or Business Application Studio.
  • The candidate should also be comfortable learning and managing other services as needed.
