Frontend Architect

We are seeking an experienced frontend architect to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing the frontend architecture of our SaaS platform.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing efficient, scalable, and maintainable components to ensure a smooth user experience across devices.
  • Continuously monitoring and optimizing performance to ensure the platform is lightweight and responsive under high traffic conditions.
  • Writing clean, modular, and reusable code adhering to best practices in frontend development and ensuring comprehensive unit tests are in place for all functionalities.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver features that delight users.
  • Staying updated with the latest frontend technologies and trends and bringing innovative ideas to the team to continuously improve the product and development processes.

Requirements include:

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in frontend development, with a focus on React.
  • Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Proven track record of building high-performance, scalable web applications.
  • Experience with component-based architecture and state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Context API).
  • Strong understanding of browser performance optimizations and best practices.
  • Experience working with RESTful APIs and integrating frontend with backend services.
  • Proficiency in version control (GIT) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or similar for writing and maintaining unit tests.
  • Strong sense of UI/UX design, with an eye for creating responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

Nice-to-have skills include:

  • Experience with TypeScript.
  • Familiarity with Micro-Frontend Architecture.
  • Prior experience working with GraphQL.
  • Understanding of WebSockets and real-time data streaming.
  • Exposure to design systems and reusable component libraries.

Soft skills include:

  • Leadership and ownership: demonstrated ability to take ownership of features or projects and drive them from concept to delivery.
  • Collaboration: strong communication skills with a proven ability to work cross-functionally with designers, backend developers, and product teams.
