Senior Manager Job Description
  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in cost sheet preparation, budgeting, and financial analysis.

The Senior Manager will be responsible for:

  • Cost Sheet Preparation: Preparing weekly and monthly cost sheets for the Iron and Steel plant (DRI, BF, SMS) and CRM/HSM Mills.
  • Budgeting and Financial Analysis: Preparing division-wise and GL-wise administrative overhead expenses and analyzing reasons for deviations from budget.
  • Monthly Review Meetings: Presenting product-wise variable costs in monthly review meetings to management.
  • Expense Tracking: Ensuring that all expenses are booked in the correct cost center.
  • Annual Business Planning: Reviewing annual business plans and preparing quarterly rolling forecasts to present to management.
  • Cost Audit: Reviewing all paras of Cost Audit reports along with backup workings and resolving queries from cost auditors before submitting reports.

Sales and Production MIS:

  • Preparing month-wise and consolidated reports of sales and production, including product mix and plant-wise NSR reports.
  • Daily release of SR for checking G/L accounts and fund centers for proper accounting of expenses and budget control department-wise.
  • Budgeting: Uploading budgets in SAP and transferring budgets from one fund center to another as per requirement.
