Portfolio Strategist

We seek a Portfolio Strategist to identify new product opportunities in emerging markets and provide insights to support strategic planning.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market analysis to identify business opportunities across therapies.
  • Analyze secondary market data to understand existing products and potential openings.
  • Preliminary IP assessment of global patents related to pharmaceuticals.
  • Develop a business case for proposed products to inform portfolio decisions.
  • Continuously monitor market trends, competitors, and identify entry channels through licensing and other means.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of the pharma industry's intellectual property landscape.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements in major markets (US, EU, Emerging Markets).
  • Understanding of formulation selection processes, forecasting, patient funneling, and pricing strategies.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

Education and Experience:

A Master's degree in Pharmacy or related field from a reputable institution, combined with 3-5 years of experience in portfolio strategy, IP management, and/or related fields.
