Business Intelligence Developer

A critical role within our data engineering team, the Business Intelligence Developer will be responsible for designing and building scalable data models and real-time dashboards using Incorta's Direct Data Mapping architecture.

The ideal candidate will have experience in developing data pipelines and dashboards using Incorta, integrating and modeling data from various sources (ERP, cloud, on-prem) using SQL and Incorta Data Models. They will also design and build business schemas, formulas, and joins in Incorta to enable efficient reporting.

Working closely with data engineers and analysts, this individual will optimize data loads and refresh cycles, implement data ingestion frameworks using ODI / ADF / PySpark based on project needs, and optimize query performance and support troubleshooting for Incorta reports and dashboards.

Key responsibilities include translating business requirements into technical solutions, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring data quality and integrity.

  • 3+ years of experience in Incorta Analytics development (schemas, dashboards, business views).
  • Strong experience in writing complex SQL queries and performance tuning.
  • Experience with at least one of the following :
    • ODI (Oracle Data Integrator) for data ingestion and transformation
    • Python / PySpark for data processing and automation
    • Azure Data Factory (ADF) for orchestrating ETL workflows
  • Nice to Have :
    • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle EBS, SAP) as data sources for Incorta.
    • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and data lake integration.
    • Working knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, or DevOps for data solutions.

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field is required.
