Job Title: Senior Software Engineer I

We are seeking a skilled Software Developer to take up the role of developing and maintaining a SAAS Platform. The ideal candidate will have expertise in software development lifecycle (SDLC) with experience working in Agile methodology.

This role is responsible for creating high-quality, bug-free software that meets customer requirements and expectations. As part of our team, you will be expected to contribute towards delivering projects on time while ensuring quality standards are met.

The successful candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, strong analytical thinking, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. Proficiency in coding languages such as Java and Spring/Spring Boot framework is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Software Development: Develop and maintain the platform, ensuring high-quality delivery of products to customers.
  • Incident Resolution: Identify and resolve incidents promptly, minimizing downtime and ensuring business continuity.
  • Bug Fixing: Deliver high-quality, bug-free software that meets customer commitments.
  • Customer Commitment: Respect customer commitments by meeting project deadlines and delivering quality outputs.
  • Operations Support: Assist operations with subject matter expertise when needed, supporting smooth day-to-day activities.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in software development with a strong understanding of SDLC.
  • Educational Qualification: IT Masters Degree or Bachelors Degree in computer science engineering.
  • Methodology Experience: High understanding of all phases of SDLC, experience in working with Agile methodology.
  • Coding Experience: Strong/proven coding experience on backend technologies Java, especially Spring/SpringBoot framework, JPA.
  • Databases: Solid experience in designing and developing with relational databases (Postgres) and SQL.
Preferred Skills:
  • CamelK: Experience with CamelK would be an advantage.
  • Oauth2: Experience with OAuth2 would be an advantage.
  • Swift Network: Knowledge of SWIFT network/banking environment would be an advantage.
