Senior Biostatistician Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Biostatistician to lead our biostatistics team and provide expert consultation on statistical methodology across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in biostatistics, excellent programming skills in SAS and/or R, and expertise in state-of-the-art data manipulation and statistical methodology.

About This Role

  • Supervise and direct the work of biostatisticians, associate biostatisticians, and SAS programmers on clinical research studies.
  • Provide technical review of proposed statistical design for research studies and ensure scientific integrity.
  • Solve complex statistical problems and develop innovative solutions.
  • Participate in statistical process development and improvement across the organization.
  • Present at statistical conferences and represent the company at regulatory meetings.
  • Lead the development of study analysis plans and statistical programs.
  • Stay up-to-date with current statistical and medical literature to ensure sound methodologies are adopted.
  • Foster innovation in biostatistics and enhance current statistical knowledge and practices.
  • Ensure the accuracy of reported results and maintain high standards.

Requirements

  • MS or PhD in biostatistics, statistics, epidemiology, or related field.
  • At least 4 years of related experience with MS or 1 year of related experience with PhD.
  • Experience with methodological statistical research and publication/presentation of work.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with statistical methods and applications in clinical research.
  • Strong programming skills in SAS and/or R.
  • Expertise in state-of-the-art data manipulation and statistical methodology.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organization skills.
