We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Coding Manager to join our Worldwide Patient Safety team. As a key member of our global team, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and consistent medical coding within established timelines and in compliance with all processes, guidelines, and conventions.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality medical coding services, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, company standards, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical research, regulatory, and safety, to ensure seamless data processing and reporting.
- Develop and maintain coding conventions, guidelines, and training programs to ensure consistency and accuracy across the organization.
- Provide expert coding advice and guidance to stakeholders, including business partners, vendors, and internal teams.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and new technologies to ensure our coding practices remain current and effective.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Life Science, Nursing, Regulatory Affairs, Chemistry, or Pharmacy preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in medical coding, with a strong understanding of MedDRA, UMC WHODrug, and company-specific dictionaries.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of international ICSR processing and reporting requirements, regulations, guidelines, and procedures.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
