Autonomous Vehicle Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Autonomous Vehicle Development Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced software architect to lead the development of future autonomous driving system generations, working towards achieving full autonomy by 2030.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in application design and development, with experience in owning responsibility for low-level design, implementation, and validation in complex automotive projects. They should also have hands-on experience in programming languages like C/C++ and knowledge of Agile SW development process.

The selected individual will be responsible for undertaking multiple tasks, working in a multidisciplinary team, mentoring junior SW engineers, and communicating findings through presentations and reporting. They will also be expected to understand requirements, design high-level solutions, and decompose them into detailed designs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop software solutions in AUTOSAR.
  • Develop complex software to satisfy design objectives.
  • Liaise with global teams within the company.
  • Mentor junior software developers on design patterns, development best practices, and DevOps trade-offs.
  • Understand API design for extensibility and portability of software across multiple implementations.
  • Support the implementation of software detailed designs in software and API interfaces required from internal teams.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in application design and development, with at least 3+ years of experience in application design and development.
  • Hands-on experience in developing systems based on various IPC mechanisms.
  • Good knowledge of Adaptive AUTOSAR-based Communication and Diagnostic stack.
  • Experience in Automotive SW middleware platforms.
  • Strong understanding of software design and architectural patterns.
  • Good understanding of ISO26262.
  • Previous experience in owning responsibility for low-level design, implementation, and validation in complex automotive projects.
