Job Summary

This is a full-time, remote role for a Software Integration Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for integrating software systems, developing software solutions, and troubleshooting issues.

About the Role

The Software Integration Engineer will be working with our India-based product team to design, build, and maintain integrations with various Property Management Systems (PMS) and third-party platforms. The ideal candidate will have experience in backend web development and proficiency in TypeScript and NestJS or similar frameworks.

Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain integrations with various PMS and third-party platforms.
  • Develop and optimize our integration pipeline, ensuring reliability and efficiency.
  • Understand the nuances of downstream systems and architect scalable integration solutions.
  • Engage with PMS partners to identify and implement new features and updates.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration-related issues, ensuring system stability and performance.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in backend web development.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript and experience working with NestJS or similar backend frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Object-Oriented Programming and its various paradigms.
  • Strong understanding of automated testing at every level (unit, integration and end-to-end).
  • Experience working with message queues and understanding of pub-sub architectures in distributed systems.
  • Familiarity with databases and ORM frameworks for efficient data management.
Nice to Have
  • Experience in frontend development using React or other similar frameworks.
  • Experience working in the hospitality tech industry or with PMS integrations.
