The Role

The Assistant Manager Quality will oversee quality assurance activities across multiple packaging divisions, ensuring adherence to industry and customer-specific requirements. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing quality control processes for FIBC, BOPP, and flexible packaging, including extrusions and laminations.
  • Monitoring production planning to ensure quality standards are met throughout the production process.
  • Conducting inspections, quality verification, and leading root cause analysis for product defects.
  • Resolving customer complaints and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
  • Performing quality audits and testing procedures to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Developing and maintaining quality documentation and collaborating with production teams to optimize processes.
  • Leading root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues.

The Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Packaging Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in quality management within the packaging industry, with expertise in FIBC, BOPP woven bags, and flexible packaging.
  • Strong understanding of production planning and quality assurance methodologies, including Six Sigma and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and leadership abilities.
  • Proficiency in quality control tools, statistical analysis software, and knowledge of ISO standards.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
