Job Title: Data System Lead

Description:

We are looking for an experienced professional to lead our data system initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data design, database management, and system development.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop complex data models, schemas, and database designs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into effective data designs and data flows.
  • Orient data structures for performance and scalability in alignment with business objectives.
  • Conduct data profiling and analysis to identify data quality issues and propose solutions.
  • Maintain data dictionaries and understand data design specifications.
  • Proficient in SQL and familiar with database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, Kafka, AWS).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Data Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience in data modeling, database design, and data governance frameworks.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and tools.
  • Basic understanding of financial crime domain.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

About the Role:

This is a leadership role that requires collaboration with other functions/business divisions. The successful candidate will be responsible for advising and influencing decision-making, contributing to policy development, and taking ownership of operational effectiveness.
