Job Title: Cloud Data Engineering Lead

This is a leadership role that requires expertise in cloud-based data engineering. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in designing, implementing, and managing large-scale data systems.

The primary focus of this position will be to lead the development of data engineering solutions, including data warehousing, ETL processes, and data visualization.

  1. Data Engineering Expertise: The candidate should have extensive experience in designing and implementing data engineering solutions using cloud-based technologies such as AWS.
  2. Leadership Skills: The candidate should have strong leadership skills and be able to motivate and guide a team of engineers to deliver high-quality results.
  3. Communication Skills: The candidate should have excellent communication skills and be able to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement data engineering solutions using cloud-based technologies.
  • Lead a team of engineers to deliver high-quality results.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop solutions.
  • Develop and maintain data engineering standards and best practices.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers to improve their skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in data engineering, with at least 3 years of leadership experience.
  • Strong background in cloud-based technologies such as AWS.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
