Pharma Sales Executive

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Pharma Sales Executive to join our team at KNR Management Consultants. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional to develop and execute sales strategies, build strong relationships with customers, and identify new business opportunities to increase market penetration in the pharmaceutical industry.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and business development, with a proven track record of success in the pharma excipients market. They will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, building strong relationships with customers, and identifying new business opportunities to increase market penetration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales and business development of pharma excipients with pharmaceutical, life science, and biopharmaceutical companies.
- Achieve sales targets (revenue, volume, and gross profit) and organizational goals annually.
- Provide regular updates to management on sales activities and results.
- Foster strong relationships with customers to improve profitability.
- Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor pricing, and products.
- Servicing existing accounts, acquiring new orders, and developing new business opportunities for pharma excipients.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge through training, industry publications, and networking.
- Manage account receivables, I & C forms, customer complaints, and rejections.
- Develop and grow commercial relationships with key customers, identifying new business opportunities to increase market penetration.
- Forecast sales to inform operations planning and introduce product innovations.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in sales & business development.
- Experience in sales & business development of pharma excipients to pharmaceutical, life science, and biopharma companies is essential.
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical product development and manufacturing operations.
- Frequent travel required (50% or more).
