Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Data Insights Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our data-driven organization, you will be responsible for extracting, cleaning, transforming, and analyzing large-scale structured and unstructured datasets from multiple sources.

You will develop and maintain interactive dashboards, KPIs, and visualizations using Tableau (or similar BI tools) to support ongoing business monitoring and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement robust data pipelines and ETL workflows to automate reporting and improve data accessibility.
  • Conduct in-depth exploratory data analysis (EDA) and statistical modeling to identify patterns, detect anomalies, and generate actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, product managers, and engineering teams to understand requirements and deliver data solutions that drive decision-making.
  • Lead customer segmentation, behavioral analysis, retention modeling, and risk scoring using advanced analytics techniques.
  • Participate in the development and evaluation of AI/ML models and contribute to the integration of data-driven features in products.
  • Translate complex technical findings into clear, concise business narratives and data stories for leadership and stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Programming: Advanced proficiency in Python, with demonstrated experience in data manipulation, EDA, and statistical modeling using libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, Seaborn, and scikit-learn.
    • SQL: Expert-level proficiency in writing complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and aggregation across large relational databases.
    • Data Visualization: Strong hands-on experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar BI tools for creating dashboards and visual narratives.
    • Data Modeling: Familiarity with dimensional modeling, normalization/denormalization techniques, and metadata-driven design principles.
  • Preferred Skills:
    • Experience with machine learning techniques such as classification, clustering, regression, or recommendation systems.
    • Exposure to Natural Language Processing (NLP) and deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch is a strong plus.
    • Understanding of cloud-based data ecosystems (e.g., AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, Azure Synapse).
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to synthesize abstract business problems into structured analytical tasks.
    • Excellent communication and data storytelling capabilities, with the ability to tailor content to both technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Proactive attitude with a passion for continuous learning and innovation in data and analytics.
