Android Application Developer

We are looking for an experienced Android Application Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and a passion for delivering seamless user experiences through modern UI/UX practices.

This is a hybrid contract role based in Hyderabad or Bangalore. The candidate will work closely with the UI/UX design team to build visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces.

About the Role:

  1. Design, develop, and maintain advanced Android applications with a focus on performance, scalability, and responsiveness.
  2. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using Kotlin, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  3. Work closely with UI/UX designers to build visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces.
  4. Integrate third-party APIs and backend services to ensure smooth data flow between the mobile app and server.
  5. Continuously identify and resolve performance issues, memory leaks, and bottlenecks.
  6. Implement unit tests, integration tests, and UI automation to ensure application stability and robustness.
  7. Use Git or other version control systems to collaborate effectively and maintain codebase integrity.
  8. Conduct and participate in regular code reviews to maintain code quality and facilitate team knowledge sharing.
  9. Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation for code, APIs, and system design.
  10. Ensure the application adheres to best security practices, including secure authentication and data encryption.

Key Qualifications:

  • Strong expertise in Kotlin and Android SDK.
  • In-depth experience with Jetpack Compose (mandatory).
  • Familiarity with architectural patterns like MVVM, Clean Architecture, etc.
  • Experience with tools such as Android Studio, Firebase, Retrofit, and Room.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for Android development.
  • Android Development Certification (preferred but not mandatory).
