The role of a Business Insights Professional involves analyzing complex data sets to inform strategic decision-making across various business units. This includes identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies in large datasets to support forecasting and optimization initiatives.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze vast amounts of data from diverse sources to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Translate business requirements into actionable data insights and provide recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and innovation.
- Perform statistical analysis and A/B testing to evaluate business performance.
- Document data definitions, processes, and business rules for seamless integration.
- Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases.
- Strong knowledge of data visualization tools and Excel.
- Familiarity with at least one scripting language and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to present complex data findings clearly and effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
