Job Description:

  • We are looking for a highly skilled Kafka Administrator to manage large-scale Kafka clusters, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable Kafka architectures to meet business needs.
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure smooth integration of Kafka clusters with other systems.
  • Monitor and optimize Kafka cluster performance, implementing necessary upgrades and patches.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, SOPs, and best practices for Kafka cluster management.

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in Kafka Administration (Confluent & AWS MSK)
  • Minimum 2.5 years of experience in Kafka Administration (mandatory)
  • Strong knowledge of Big Data & Hadoop Ecosystem, Apache Spark, Linux/Unix Systems & Windows Server, Shell/Python scripting, and Automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, and GitOps.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like GitLab, Jenkins, and Monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Dynatrace is highly desirable.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and collaboration skills are essential.

Good to Have:

  • Experience with IBM MQ / RabbitMQ is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of Elasticsearch, Kubernetes, and ServiceNow is also highly desirable.
