Senior Data Engineer Position

Job Overview:

  • Design and build scalable data pipelines for large volumes of structured and unstructured data using Google Cloud tools.
  • Create and maintain datasets based on business requirements, utilizing techniques such as partitioning and clustering in BigQuery.
  • Develop robust data pipeline architecture to ensure reliability and scalability, incorporating DevOps and CI/CD practices.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and business clients to identify opportunities for data acquisition and translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Leverage various Google Cloud tools such as Python, Data Flow, DataStream, CDC, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Pub Sub, BigQuery, and Cloud Storage to integrate systems and data pipelines.
  • Monitor pipelines effectively using logs and alerts.

Requirements:

  • Jr. Data Engineer: 2-3 years of experience in a GCP data engineering role (offshore).
  • Sen. Data Engineer: 4+ years of experience in a GCP data engineering role (offshore).
  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience in GCP tools (Python, SQL, Data Flow, DataStream, CDC, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Pub Sub, BigQuery, Cloud Storage).
