Project Engineer Role Summary:

Manage projects from inception to completion, focusing on key responsibilities including:

  • Review Drawings: Verify client-provided drawings meet specifications.
  • Scope of Work Computation: Calculate scope of work from drawings, incorporating tonnage, inch diameter, and square meters.
  • MTO Management: Examine MTOs for the scope of work from drawings and received materials.
  • Project Planning and Scheduling: Plan and schedule project targets daily, weekly, and monthly.
  • Inspection Test Plan Compliance: Review ITPs and adhere to requirements.
  • Purchase Requisition Preparation: Prepare purchase requisitions for MTO procurement.
  • Vendor Evaluation: Assess vendor proposals for specifications and quantities.
  • Materials Control Maintenance: Manage materials control charts and reconcile free-issued materials.
  • Site Operations: Handle site manpower and tools/equipment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

3-5 years of experience in a similar role with a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles.

Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputable institution is required. Additional qualifications such as Diploma in Piping Engineering and Design are desirable.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Auto Cad is essential. ASNT Level II qualifications in RT/UT/MPI and LPT are also beneficial.
