Job Title: Digital Storyteller

We're seeking a skilled digital storyteller to join our team and create captivating visual content for various platforms.

The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of narrative and be passionate about crafting compelling stories that resonate with diverse audiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Edit engaging video content for social media, YouTube, reels, ads, and campaigns, while ensuring brand tone and objectives are met.
  • Collaborate closely with the creative, social media, and marketing teams to understand content strategy and execute video outputs that drive results.
  • Trim footage segments, assemble sequences, and add transitions, music, voiceovers, effects, and graphics as needed to elevate video content.
  • Create motion graphics and simple animations in Adobe After Effects or similar tools to enhance video storytelling.
  • Maintain and manage a library of raw footage, edited versions, and project files with proper naming conventions and organization.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, platform updates, and audience preferences to keep content fresh and relevant.
  • Handle basic audio editing, color correction, and visual enhancements to deliver polished final products.
  • Ensure projects are completed within deadlines and delivered in required formats and resolutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Film, Media, Communication, Multimedia, or a related field is preferred.
  • 1-3 years of professional experience in video editing, preferably for digital media or social platforms.
  • Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects.
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with creative and marketing teams.
  • A well-prepared portfolio or showreel demonstrating video editing skills and creative storytelling.
  • Basic knowledge of motion graphics, animation, and sound editing.
  • Familiarity with video formats and best practices for various social media platforms (Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, etc.).
