Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable and secure cloud infrastructure solutions.

  • You will work closely with development teams to design and implement cloud-based infrastructure solutions that meet business requirements.
  • You will ensure the security and compliance of cloud infrastructure by implementing appropriate access controls, monitoring systems, and incident response procedures.
  • You will collaborate with other teams to develop and implement DevOps practices, including continuous integration, continuous delivery, and deployment.
  • You will identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and reliability of cloud infrastructure and propose cost-effective solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, DevOps, and IT operations.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell, Python, Perl, and Groovy.
  • A strong understanding of version control systems, e.g., Git, and hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI.
  • Deep knowledge of Linux/Unix systems administration.
  • Experience working with web servers/app servers, including Tomcat and WebLogic.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, as well as cloud platforms, such as AWS.
  • Exposure to job scheduling tools and monitoring frameworks, e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios.
  • Excellent troubleshooting analytical and problem-solving abilities, strong communication and collaboration skills.
