Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

This key role entails architecting, implementing, and maintaining robust cloud infrastructure on AWS, along with overseeing self-hosted and on-premises assets.
As a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our systems are scalable, secure, and reliable.
- Design and deploy complex AWS cloud infrastructure, encompassing EC2 instances, S3 buckets, VPCs, RDS databases, and Lambda functions.
- Implement backup, high-availability, and disaster recovery solutions to mitigate potential risks.
- Create automation scripts for provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of cloud resources to optimize efficiency.
- Monitor system performance and implement improvements for optimal resource utilization and cost efficiency.
You will also provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members.
Staying up-to-date with the latest AWS services and best practices is essential.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in AWS cloud solutions.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification is highly preferred.
This is a full-time remote position, working 40 hours per week in night shifts (EST, CST, PST).
