Senior Quality Assurance Technical Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quality Assurance Technical Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for leading the quality assurance process and ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of quality.

• Leadership & Strategy Development: The successful candidate will lead the quality assurance team to develop and implement comprehensive quality management strategies aligned with company goals and industry standards.
• Quality Standards & Compliance: The candidate must establish, maintain, and monitor quality standards specific to high fashion products, including fabrics, trims, and finishing details.
• Technical Oversight & Inspection: The Senior Quality Assurance Technical Manager will oversee technical inspections of raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products, as well as develop and refine inspection protocols and testing procedures.
• Supplier & Vendor Management: The candidate will collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure quality specifications are met and conduct supplier audits and evaluations to maintain high-quality raw materials and components.
• Product Development Support: The Senior Quality Assurance Technical Manager will work closely with design and development teams to review technical specifications and prototypes and perform technical evaluations of garments.
• Team Management & Training: The candidate will lead, mentor, and train quality assurance staff, inspectors, and technicians, promote a culture of quality awareness and continuous learning within the team.
• Documentation & Reporting: The Senior Quality Assurance Technical Manager will maintain detailed records of quality inspections, test results, non-conformance reports, and corrective actions, as well as prepare reports for senior management on quality metrics, issues, and improvement progress.
• Risk Management & Problem Resolution: The candidate will identify potential quality risks in production processes and develop mitigation strategies and resolve complex quality issues swiftly to minimize delays and costs.
• Technological & Industry Trends: The Senior Quality Assurance Technical Manager will stay updated on emerging technologies, fabrics, and industry standards relevant to high fashion manufacturing and implement innovative quality control methods and tools as appropriate.
• Customer & Internal Stakeholder Communication: The candidate will liaise with clients, designers, and internal teams to address quality concerns and expectations and ensure customer satisfaction through consistent product quality.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., quality assurance, engineering, or business).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance or a related field.
• Proven track record of improving quality and reducing defects.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of quality management systems and international quality standards.
