Enterprise Risk Management Professional

The ideal candidate will oversee all operational activities within the Enterprise Risk Management function, ensuring a robust internal control system and identifying potential risks.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Enterprise Risk Management framework across the organization.
  • Create and maintain an effective risk mitigation strategy to minimize potential threats.
  • Identify, assess, and document control weaknesses and deficiencies, and develop recommendations for improvement.
  • Maintain up-to-date Risk Registers (RCSA) and conduct regular reviews of current business processes to identify control gaps and deficiencies.
  • Ensure that the Enterprise Risk Policy reflects best practices and accommodates changing regulatory scenarios.
  • Support Principal Risk Owners in identifying key risks and mitigating controls in their business units, as well as action plans to address any gaps in the mitigating measures identified.
  • Prepare reports for the Risk Committee, Executive Management Team, and Board Committees.
  • Develop an integrated risk reporting framework to focus attention on critical risks.

Requirements:

  • Graduate degree in finance, management, or risk management from a reputable institution. Certifications such as FRM, CFA, or CBCP are preferred.
  • 4-8 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of risk management principles and frameworks.

Key Competencies:

  • Principles of risk management and risk identification, assessment, and management frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of control frameworks and the ability to design and evaluate effectiveness of controls embedded within business processes.
  • Familiarity with risk and governance standards, including COSO framework and Basel Corporate Governance Principles.
