About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced tech lead who can guide our team in building scalable systems that handle millions of requests without breaking a sweat. Your expertise will be instrumental in architecting cutting-edge solutions using Golang and cloud technologies like AWS.

  • Maintain a clean and efficient codebase by setting best practices and guiding your team members to follow them.
  • Collaborate with the product team to identify new features and projects, and devise strategies for their successful implementation.
  • Design robust systems that leverage Kafka, AWS services, and containerized deployments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Monitor system health using tools like Grafana, New Relic, Sentry, and promptly address any issues that arise.
  • Improve our CI/CD pipelines and automation scripts using Python or Shell.
Requirements
  • No less than 8 years of experience in backend development, with at least 4 years specializing in Golang.
  • Proven track record of designing large-scale systems and architecting robust solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of Kafka and its applications.
  • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes, with hands-on experience in AWS (ECS, ECR, S3, Lambda, Secrets Manager, EC2, Route 53).
  • Experience working with databases such as MySQL and MongoDB.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one observability tool: Grafana, New Relic, or Sentry.
  • Basic scripting skills in Python or Shell.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and continuous integration methodologies.
