Job Summary:

We are seeking a Project Coordinator to provide project management and logistical support for a global pro bono program in Bengaluru, India.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To identify and select potential host client organizations and develop Scopes of Works (SOWs) reflecting specific areas of intervention requested by local host client organizations.
  • To support local host client organizations in preparing for the arrival of corporate volunteers and ensuring stakeholder meetings are arranged.
  • To participate in conference calls with corporate volunteers in advance of their arrival in Bengaluru.
  • To support corporate volunteers, providing advice and guidance around SOW delivery.
  • To act as the on-the-ground interface between our organization and partner organizations in Bengaluru, including regular correspondence with staff and other stakeholders to assure satisfaction on the part of the corporate volunteers and partner organizations.
  • To participate in meetings with corporate volunteers and with host client organizations, as requested.
  • To prepare financial and final program reports.
  • To assist in procuring and negotiating accommodations and transportation in Bengaluru for corporate volunteers.
  • To coordinate the program launch and closing event(s) for corporate volunteers and host client organizations.
  • To prepare Bengaluru-related guides and suggestions for project guides.
  • To orient new corporate volunteers upon arrival in Bengaluru.
  • To manage project travel logistics for corporate volunteers while they are in Bengaluru.
  • To act as a logistical and informational resource for corporate volunteers and troubleshoot challenges they may face.
  • To monitor and advise on security arrangements for corporate volunteers when they are in Bengaluru.
Requirements:
  1. Must be based in Bengaluru with in-depth area familiarity.
  2. A college degree in project management, organizational development, sustainability, NGO management, impact investing, communications, or related field.
  3. Minimum of 5-10 years of experience.
  4. Exceptional writing and communications skills.
  5. The ability to conduct Gap and SWOT analysis and to develop consulting Scopes of Work with limited supervision.
  6. Experience working with cross-cultural teams and/or skills-based volunteering programs.
  7. The ability to multi-task and manage diverse tasks simultaneously.
  8. Flexible and able to work in a team, as well as individually with limited supervision.
  9. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  10. Fluent in English with fluency in Kannada a plus.
  11. Exceptional customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  12. Experience in virtual and in-person presentation skills.
