Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Graduate Financial Control Specialist to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to launch your career in finance and gain comprehensive exposure to books of record, learning financial reporting while working alongside experienced professionals in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

This graduate role sits within the heart of our professional services, core systems and processes, encompassing client care, finance services, risk, technology services, cybersecurity, cyber forensics, regulatory compliance, and banking operations.

About the Role

This is a fantastic chance to build domain knowledge of a wide range of financial products spanning treasury, retail, and corporate banking, with an international and truly diverse business spread across Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. You will also gain understanding of the demands of various key regulators across our footprint as well as exposure to how we manage our finances.

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include ensuring the accuracy of books and records pre-month end and ledger close, performing quarterly analysis of movements in balances, variance, and identifying business reasons, preparing and maintaining supporting documentation for financial statements and related footnotes, and managing quarterly and annual group queries from Group Finance, Product Control, Treasury, and Tax teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess strong communication and collaboration skills, able to build strong relationships with all levels of stakeholders. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are also essential, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel. Additionally, you should be confident to challenge the status quo, able to take on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, energy, and enthusiasm.

Eligibility

This role is open to fresher candidates who are Qualified Chartered Accountant or Qualified Cost Accountants. Candidates must be available to start work in August 2025.
