Job Description

This role leads the planning, design, configuration, development, and testing of applications. It collaborates closely with operations teams to ensure smooth implementation and maintenance.

The candidate will work with integration technology to enable closed-loop manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, design, configure, implement, develop, and maintain application functionality to meet operational needs.
  • Analyze, design, configure, develop, and test requested functionality in a development environment.
  • Install and configure high-availability solutions.
  • Support operations teams in testing and accepting new changes in a test environment.
  • Collaborate with database administrators to migrate newly developed functionality to a production environment with minimal impact.
  • Monitor the application to ensure normal operation in a production line.
  • Maintain documentation for key applications.
  • Follow industry-leading practices for software development life cycles and company policies.
  • Collaborate with global IT teams for projects and support activities.
  • Train junior or new team members and users as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in planning, designing, configuring, developing, implementing, and maintaining applications.
  • Experience in leading and implementing deployments of Siemens Opcenter implementations.
  • Proficiency in modelling, printing & labeling change, CIO setting, portal layout changes, and business rules.
  • Experience in Opcenter Core Designer.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent.
  • Master of Science in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent preferred.
