Video Content Creator

We are seeking an experienced Video Editor to join our team. As a key member of the video production team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality video content using original and repurposed footage.

To achieve this, you will need to take briefs from various teams, grasp their needs and specifications, develop and review scripts and raw materials for videos, trim footage segments, input music, dialogues, graphics and effects, create rough and final cuts, ensure logical sequencing and smooth running, and consult with stakeholders from various teams.

You will also need to continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry best practices to maximize efficiency.

Key competencies required for this role include:

  • Proven work experience as a video editor
  • Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Premiere, After Effects and Final Cut)
  • Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
  • Familiarity with special effects, animation, 3D and compositing
  • Creative mind and storytelling skills
  • Proficiency in Assamese & Hindi is highly desirable

This is a contractual role that requires at least 4 years of experience in video editing. The ideal candidate should have expertise in video editing software and be familiar with the latest trends and technologies in the field. A desktop or laptop computer with video editing software is mandatory.

Note: This is a contract role until April 2026.
