Automation Tester (Python)

About the Role:

  • This role involves working on automation testing using Python programming language.
  • You will be responsible for developing frameworks in Java and JavaScript, using Excel for test data and JSON for object repositories.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing reusable common-lib modules for UI steps, data-driven testing, SOAP/REST API, JSON parsing, AODA compliance, PDF test, ETL support, and mobile UI testing.
  • Developing automated test case generation, JSON assertions, and data encryption using REST API workflows.
  • Architecting RAPID Automation Test Management Platform, a 24/7 self-sustaining system for executing automation regression test scripts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in automation testing with a strong background in software QA methodologies and tools.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language such as Java, Python, or Shell.
  • Experience working in Unix/Linux environments, including writing shell scripts and using Unix command-line tools.
  • Strong understanding of relational databases and advanced SQL skills.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
