About the Job:

  • We are looking for a highly skilled SCADA engineer to join our team.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Lead Design Configuration and Deployment of Complex Systems
  2. Architect and Implement Real-Time Data Acquisition, Visualization, and Reporting Solutions
  3. Ensure Seamless Integration of OT Systems, PLC, SCADA, MES with Enterprise IT Systems, ERP Databases, Cloud
  4. Develop and Maintain Secure Efficient Data Exchange Using REST APIs, MQTT, and OPC UA Protocols
  5. Manage Industrial Databases, SQL Historian, Timeseries Databases for High Availability and Performance
  6. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams to Align System Capabilities with Production and Business Needs
  7. Provide Technical Leadership in Digital Transformation Initiatives such as Industry 4.0 Smart Manufacturing and Predictive Analytics
  8. Troubleshoot, Optimize, and Support Existing SCADA/MES Deployments to Ensure Minimal Downtime
  9. Mentor Junior Engineers and Support Knowledge Sharing Across the Engineering Team

Requirements:

  1. Mandatory Proven Expertise with Ignition SCADA, Inductive Automation, Including Scripting Module Configuration and Project Deployment
  2. Strong Background in MES Functions, Production Tracking, OEE, Downtime Analysis, Traceability, SPC, etc.
  3. Proficiency with Database Technologies, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Equivalent
  4. Hands-on Experience with OT/IT Integration Technologies
  5. REST APIs for System Interconnectivity
  6. MQTT for IIoT Messaging and Lightweight Communication
  7. OPC UA for Industrial Interoperability
  8. Strong Knowledge of Industrial Control Systems, PLC, SCADA, HMIs, and Plant Floor Connectivity
  9. Familiarity with Manufacturing Standards, ISA95, ISA88, ISA99, IEC 62443
  10. Excellent Problem-Solving, Communication, and Cross-Functional Collaboration Skills
  11. Experience with Cloud-Based IIoT Platforms, Azure IoT, AWS IoT, etc.
  12. Knowledge of Cybersecurity Best Practices in OT Environments
  13. Familiarity with Containerization, Docker, Kubernetes, for SCADA/MES Deployments
  14. Experience in Working on Large-Scale Digital Transformation/Industry 4.0 Projects
  15. Certifications, Ignition Gold Certified Specialist, OPC UA, or Relevant Industrial IT/OT Certifications
