Purchasing Specialist

We are seeking a skilled procurement professional to manage end-to-end sourcing of electrical products. The successful candidate will ensure timely delivery and cost-effective purchasing decisions, adhering to technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and evaluate vendors for electrical products, ensuring compliance with project needs.
  • Negotiate and finalize contracts with suppliers, securing the best pricing, credit terms, and delivery schedules.
  • Review and interpret SLDs (Single Line Diagrams) and BOQs (Bill of Quantities) to guarantee alignment with project objectives.
  • Maintain accurate vendor lists, develop new suppliers, and conduct quality assurance audits.
  • Coordinate with project teams for dispatches, tracking, and resolving any delays or discrepancies.
  • Maintain detailed procurement records (quotations, POs, payments, approvals).
  • Ensure all purchases are made within budget and in accordance with company guidelines.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma/Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 3–4 years of procurement experience in an electrical trading company.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and email communication.
  • Strong negotiation, vendor management, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
