Senior Data Solutions Architect

Job Description

As a Senior Data Solutions Architect, you will lead the development and implementation of scalable data engineering solutions. Your expertise in designing and building ETL/ELT data pipelines for structured and unstructured data will drive business growth and innovation.

  • Design and implement robust data workflows that optimize performance, cost, and quality.
  • Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for data applications.
  • Establish monitoring, alerting, and data quality checks to ensure high-quality data delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mentor junior data engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing across teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Data Scientists, Analysts, and DevOps.
  • Drive technical initiatives and lead by example in delivering innovative solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Apache Spark and distributed data processing.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and/or Scala.
  • Advanced SQL skills and experience with data modeling.
  • Experience with orchestration tools like Apache Airflow, AWS Step Functions, or similar.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering, building and managing large-scale data infrastructure.
  • Proven track record of mentoring and leading technical initiatives.
