Accounting Professional

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Professional to support the smooth operation of our accounting functions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general accounting, with experience in preparing financial statements, posting daily bank transactions, and managing monthly reconciliations.

Additionally, the successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be proactive and organized, and be adaptable to a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities:
  • General Accounting Tasks: Prepare financial statements, post daily bank transactions, and manage monthly reconciliations.
  • Journal Entries: Record accruals, prepaids, and various other balance sheet items.
  • Tax Compliance: Monitor and ensure timely filing of Sales/Use Tax returns.
  • Accounts Payable: Process vendor invoices, credit memos, and 1099s via Bill.com.
  • Financial Systems: Use and update tools like NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage, and CRM platforms.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting: With 2–5 years of general accounting experience; AP experience is a plus.
  • Software Proficiency: Comfortable with NetSuite, Bill.com, QuickBooks, Sage, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), and CRM tools.
  • Knowledge of GAAP: Strong attention to detail required.
  • Remote Work Experience: Must have experience working remotely with US clients.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills and a proactive, organized work style.
  • Adaptability: Adaptable to a startup environment – Open to evolving tools and workflows.
