We are seeking a skilled senior software engineer to fill this position.
Main Responsibilities:- Software Development and Support: Design, develop, modify, implement, and support software components anywhere in the software stack.
- Technical Leadership: Determine root cause for complex software issues and develop practical, efficient, and permanent technical solutions.
- Staying Current: Remain current on new technologies, evaluate, and make recommendations as necessary.
- Task Planning and Estimation: Assist in task planning, estimation, scheduling.
- Mentorship: Mentor junior software engineers and help them enhance their skill/knowledge development through advice, coaching, and training opportunities.
- Process Improvement: Determine process improvements, best practices, and develop new processes.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work in close partnership with cross-functional teams and management.
- Client Application Development: Write, modify, and debug software for client applications.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3-7 years of IT experience with 3+ experience on Guidewire Configuration development.
- Experience in Configuration on any of Guidewire Products such as PolicyCenter.
- Proficiency in Gosu Queries, working on PCF, RuleSets, Validations.
- Strong understanding of the Insurance domain with respect to commercial and personal line of business.
- Agile/Scrum Project Experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Guidewire certification on Integration track.
- Awareness of Cloud Implementation is beneficial.
- Experience working in Agile preferred.
