Global Automation Expert

As a seasoned automation expert, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing and maintaining automated test scripts using Python.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Automated Test Scripts: Utilize Python to create efficient and effective automated test scripts that meet the required testing standards.
  • Collaborate with Development Teams: Work closely with cross-functional development teams to understand product requirements and test scenarios, ensuring seamless integration of automation efforts.
  • Test Case Execution and Analysis: Develop and execute test cases to validate software functionality and performance, analyzing results to identify bugs and areas for improvement.
  • Automation Frameworks: Leverage testing frameworks like PyTest or Robot Framework for automation execution, streamlining processes and enhancing efficiency.
  • Quality Assurance: Analyze test results, collaborate with developers to resolve issues, and maintain documentation related to test strategies and processes.

Additional Requirements:

  • Maintain Documentation: Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation related to test strategies and processes, facilitating knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
  • Software QA Methodologies: Possess a strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and best practices, enabling effective implementation and adaptation of automation solutions.

Requirements:

  • Programming Languages: Proficiency in Python and Scala programming languages, with experience in relevant testing frameworks and automation tools.
  • Testing Frameworks: Experience with testing frameworks like PyTest or Robot Framework, as well as knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and their integration with automated tests.
  • Back-end Systems and Utilities: Familiarity with back-end systems and custom test utilities, ensuring comprehensive coverage and efficient testing processes.
