Job Opportunity: Data Analysis Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Data Analysis Specialist to support our team in delivering high-quality services to our clients. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about data analysis and want to contribute to the success of our organization.

The successful candidate will be responsible for capturing, organizing, and analyzing large datasets to provide valuable insights to our clients. They will work closely with our team to enhance our culture of innovation and reinforce our reputation as a leading provider of cost management, project management, and advisory services.

Responsibilities:

  • Data capture, organization, storage, and analysis for creating and maintaining cost indices and escalation
  • Upkeeping construction project cost database, including data capture, cleaning, organization, storage, and analysis
  • Managing large amounts of data in Excel
  • Collaborating with cost estimators/quantity surveyors to fill in holes in data
  • Contributing to the process for collection, capture, and utilization of historic data
  • Performing other duties as supervisor or senior leadership deem necessary
  • Coordinating with senior and technical staff

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree + 2 years relevant experience
  • Firm decision-making abilities, excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Must have experience in data analysis and data management
  • Must understand IT technology including Intranet, MS Windows, MS Office Suites
  • Experience with Microsoft suite particularly managing data in Excel and SharePoint preferred
  • SQL, Python, R, PowerBI, and Tableau skills beneficial
  • Attention to details
  • Experience managing and analysing large data sets will be beneficial
  • Interest or experience in construction industry or how things go together
  • Motivated to work independently and ability to work as part of a team
  • Dedication to current/continued pursuit of registrations
  • Excellent English communication skills
