About This Role

Wells Fargo is seeking a highly skilled Data Product Management Manager for the Home Lending - Data Management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for enabling data product design and delivery to drive business initiatives, strategies, and analytics, while incorporating governance set by Data Management.

This role serves as a bridge between data analytics, data management, and technology, focusing on data integration, efficiency, and enablement across data platforms and utilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and develop a team of individual contributors in roles with low to moderate complexity and risk, executing against data product strategy and roadmaps to drive enablement and capabilities across platforms and utilities; engage stakeholders and internal partners associated or affected by its outcomes.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for data product roadmaps and data enablement with a focus on data governance and standards.
  • Make decisions and resolve issues regarding resources, objectives, and operations for functional area and team to meet business objectives that drive the enablement of data availability for data intelligence, analytics, and reporting; interpret and develop policies and procedures for functions with low to moderate complexity within scope of data product responsibility.
  • Collaborate with and consult with peers, colleagues, and multiple level managers including business, risk partners, and technical staff within Enterprise Data Management and Technology.
  • Provide guidance to the team on best practices, methods, and tools to support and design innovative data products enabling data availability for data intelligence, analytics, and reporting.
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources.
  • Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent.

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, plus additional benefits such as health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.

Requirements:
  • 4+ years of data product or data management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
  • 2+ years of leadership experience.

Additional desired qualifications include 14+ years of experience in IT, Home Lending Domain experience, strong relationship development skills, ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment, and ability to influence, partner, and negotiate with senior business leaders to gain commitment to accomplish business goals.
