About the Role

This is a sales opportunity with Amazon Seller Services India. You will be responsible for engaging retailers at all points of their life cycle, identifying and recruiting retailers that deliver competitive pricing and broad product selection on the platform, training sellers on Amazon systems helping them integrate with our product platform, and analyzing seller performance metrics to help them become successful on our platform.

The ideal candidate will have sales experience, ability to work in an environment with minimal supervision, comfortable working across multiple complex functions and capability to influence external parties. The candidate should be comfortable interfacing with technology systems, training other stakeholders on systems and processes, and able to analyze data and gather actionable conclusions.

  • Develop a deep understanding of products and services offered by Amazon Services.
  • Help define the seller base and industry verticals we target for various Amazon services using local knowledge.
  • Identify valuable sellers and select them for Amazon services.
  • Acquire retailers with valuable selection and establish long-term partnerships.
  • Own and manage integration of portfolio of sellers and help them become self-reliant through basic training.
  • Track and monitor performance and sales of key partners to manage their performance.
About You

You are a motivated sales professional with a strong work ethic. You are customer-focused and passionate about e-commerce. You have excellent communication and presentation skills and are able to express thoughts logically and succinctly. You are a team player and able to thrive in an ambiguous environment.

We are looking for someone who is driven, results-oriented, and able to manage business 'by the numbers'. If you have experience in sales, preferably in an analytical environment with external customer interaction, we would like to hear from you.

Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred. Prior experience selling nascent products/services into new markets is desired. Experience working with SME retailers is an advantage.
